- I have Von Hippel Lindau disease. Some call it a cancer. I think this is misleading at the moment. I have a few tumours and have had a few operations too. I live with it. What other choice do I have?

I was just about to message you through the VHL board, but unfortunately I forgot Ayla's name. I decided to check your site to find her name (as I thought it would be bad to keep referring to her as "the baby"), and there is a new picture!

I'm so sorry about your dad. Sometimes I see Steven reacting in anger to this disease also, and it breaks my heart, because he too has such a sweet nature. I don't think people realize the emotional toll that a disease without a cure can take on you.
Don't be discouraged by your dad's retirement. Many people would be happy to retire at a "young" age.
